Conversion to single speed went smooth as……. and completed the first easy simple short ride last Sunday at Newcastleton with it all rigged up. Cheers to the chaps who helped me fit it all on Saturday night. Runs all lovely and while hills can be a bit of a pain it feels great on downhills when you have no gears skipping or derailleur to bash about. Think I might get a bigger front ring than the 32t as it doesn’t take long to get enough speed up to make it too fast to pedal.
