Meet on the friday evening or saturday afternoon at the campsite.
Have a Jackrabbitt style sportsday for a laugh, with prizes etc.
Then have a campfire (campsite permitting) with a couple of guitars and have a singalong...
Wake up in the morning, get put (or get into your own) teams, earn your bacon butty (or vegetarian alternative) in the morning by solving a couple of puzzles. Then be given your treasure map and gps device, to go and discover your adventure for the day. All meet up for lunch and compare notes, see who is winning etc, hopefully it will be a nice day and we can find a friendly beer garden to lounge in and eat food.
Then continue the hunt.
Then meet up in the evening to hand in your results and findings etc.
Then eat a big plate of pasta
Then games of frisbee and football, and maybe set up a little skills course for the bikes to have some nice friendly challenges!
Then bed, then puzzles for bacon buttys, then more throwins rugby balls and frisbees etc, and maybe some more team games like tug of war etc.
then head home and rest!
Cost: £30 per person, £20 for 16 and under
Deposit of £5 payable before august the 7th, with the remainder payable the week before.
Anyone not paying the deposit ontime but still coming along, will be subject to a £5 late booking fee, raising the total cost to £35.
GEOCACHING: we give you some coordinates, which you then use your GPS device to go and find, and when you are there you will find a box hidden somewhere, with some treasures in. This will be over hills and stuff, so a fair bit of walking is involved...or running if you are competative. There will be points for first team back with all the treasures for their team...and so on...there will be prizes and so on
It should make for an interesting family fun style weekend. Anyone welcome, but with the usual jackrabbitt twists thrown in for good measure
The only thing we are to decide on at the moment is the time, ie, the last weekend in august or not.
Let me know what you think
